September 27, 2006 Special Call Meeting

The Board of Council for the City of Central City, Kentucky met in special session with Mayor Hugh W. Sweatt, Jr. presiding.  The City Attorney Russell L. Croley was present.

COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:  Mike Jenkins, Jim Koper, Jerry Mitchell, Joe Glenn Mitchell, David Richey, and Barry Shaver.

COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT:  Elizabeth Ann Gentry, Jim Koper, and Stan Spence

AGENDA: 

1. Ordinance Bill #2006-07, An Ordinance Setting The Tax Rate For The City Of Central City For The Tax Year 2006 And for Motor vehicles for Assessments As Of January 1, 2007

     City Attorney Russ Croley read the second reading of Ordinance Bill #2006-07.  David Richey made a motion to accept Ordinance bill #2006-07 and was seconded by Mike Jenkins with a roll call vote.  Roll Call: Elizabeth Ann Gentry - absent, Mike Jenkins-yes, Jim Koper-absent, Jerry Mitchell-yes, Joe Glenn Mitchell-yes, David Richey - yes, Barry Shaver - yes, Stan Spence - absent.  Motion carried.

There being no further business to discuss, David Richey made a motion to adjourn and was seconded by Jerry Mitchell. Unanimous "aye", motion carried.
